Hot Boat Hardy Dam "Hardi Gras"
Watch the Hardy Dam Hot Boat Video by clicking on the You Tube Hot Boat Video Link. Hardy Dam is located on the Muskegon River which has 17 miles of waterway up to Rogers Dam past Brower Park. The Muskegon River is more than 1 mile wide north of Hardy Dam.
Every year on the second weekend in September, right after Labor Day, hot boats from all over the United States meet on the Muskegon River for the Hot Boat Hardy Dam Weekend. Boats raft up for party time and watch the action during Hot Boat Weekend. Hot Boats are not the only boats on the waterway. Enjoy your Pontoon Boat, Kayak, Canoe, Ski Boat, Fishing Boat, Row Boat or whatever is your pleasure. You can stay at the Dam Suite Inn for luxury camping, camp at one of the Newaygo County Parks or get a slip at the Hardy Dam Marina just 500 feet from the Hilltop.
